Facelift Recovery Director before and after a facelift

Facelift planned? Have your preparation and recovery professionally directed.

Together, we write the script for a thoughtfully prepared recovery journey. Sometimes that only requires a few moments of support; sometimes it calls for more guidance behind the scenes. Just like on a film set, it’s not about the size of the crew, but about having the right people at the right moment. I guide every scene and make sure everything comes together seamlessly

Recovery starts before surgery

How my own facelift led to RejuvAssist

Hello, my name is Marieke Niestadt (57).

Facelift Recovery Director and founder of RejuvAssist.

For several years, I have worked as a director of films and documentaries.

On a film set, everything revolves around timing, preparation, and oversight. Behind the scenes, months of work go into what is ultimately only visible for a few hours. The magic is not in the moment itself, but in the direction around it.

When I chose to undergo a neck and facelift, as well as upper and lower eyelid correction, I immediately saw what many people overlook: a facelift is also a production. It’s not just the day of the surgery that matters. The process around it determines how the story unfolds.

From the moment my surgery date was confirmed, my preparation began.

I looked into what my body needed, brought structure into my planning, and organized support. I consciously worked on mental calm, so I didn’t walk into the operating room with anxiety, but with confidence.

Because everything behind the scenes was in place, the day of the surgery itself felt almost serene. My recovery was calm and surprisingly smooth. What can be a stressful period for many, I experienced as a carefully guided process. I recovered quickly and experienced the entire period as something very positive. In fact, I even found moments of enjoyment in it.

But during my preparation, I also saw the other side. Women (and men) who go through this process without direction. Without clear structure. Without proper preparation or aftercare. For them, it feels heavier than it needs to be: more uncertainty, more discomfort, more stress.

That is why I started RejuvAssist.

Today, I bring my experience as a director into a new domain. I work behind the scenes of your facelift journey. I coordinate, structure, and guide, so you don’t have to improvise during a phase that requires calm and clarity.

Recovery is not a side note.

It is pre and post-production.

And post-production determines the final result.

Direction, fully tailored to your needs

A facelift is not a standalone procedure.

It is a production with multiple scenes.

There is the preparation, the day of surgery, the first days afterward, the phase in which the swelling subsides, and the moment you step outside again.

Each scene requires something different. A different pace. A different form of support.

As a Facelift Recovery Director, I take the lead in directing this entire process.

Sometimes recovery only requires a few carefully planned moments of support. Other times, there is a need for more presence and guidance during the first days or weeks afterward.

Like a small film production, it is not about the size of the crew, but about having the right people at the right moments.

Together with you, and in accordance with the protocol of your treating surgeon, I create the script for your recovery. Not a standard template, but a plan aligned with your procedure, your body, and your rhythm.

On a film set, what happens behind the scenes determines the quality of the final result.

With a facelift, it is no different.

My role is to bring clarity where uncertainty may arise. To create calm when emotions run high. To ensure the production, large or small, unfolds with care. I want your recovery period not only to be more comfortable, but to feel like a positive experience.

You don’t have to direct it.

That’s my job.
