Facelift Recovery Diary is a private diary for your facelift recovery. We built it so that your photos, videos, voice notes and notes belong to you and stay with you.
Facelift Recovery Diary is provided by RejuvAssist LLC ("we", "us"), 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
The short version
• Everything you add stays on your device. We do not have servers that store your diary.
• There are no accounts. You don't sign up or log in.
• There is no tracking, no advertising and no analytics. We don't sell or share data.
• Backups are in your control. A backup file is only created when you ask for it, and you decide where it goes.
What the app stores
Your diary entries (text, photos, videos, voice notes, pain/swelling/mood ratings), your surgery date, answers you note from your surgeon, medication and cooling schedules, and reminders. This data is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone.
Permissions
• Camera: to take progress photos and videos.
• Microphone: to record voice notes and video sound.
• Photos: to add existing photos/videos, and (if you allow it) to save your photos to a "Facelift Recovery Diary" album on your device.
• Notifications: for reminders you set. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
• Face ID / fingerprint: optional, to unlock your diary. Biometric data is handled by your phone's operating system and is never accessible to the app.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.
PIN lock
If you set a PIN, it is stored in your phone's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and is never included in backups.
Backups and sharing
When you export a backup or share a photo, the file is handed to the destination you choose (for example Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email). That destination's own privacy policy then applies. We never receive a copy.
Deleting your data
Delete items inside the app, or delete the app to remove all diary data from your device. Backups you exported yourself are not affected; delete those where you saved them.
Children
Facelift Recovery Diary is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
Medical disclaimer
The app's texts are general information and do not replace advice from your surgeon or medical team.
